Statement to voters
Bob spent his early years in Uganda but was then articled as a Solicitor in Gloucester. On qualifying he moved to Shrewsbury and then Telford before becoming Chief Executive of Daventry District Council in 1983. In 1999 he joined the United Nations and served in Kosovo for six and a half years before retirement. He used to live in Welton but now lives on Lang Farm. He is a Governor of Ashby Fields Primary School. For many years Bob was in the Royal Naval Reserves and commanded the RNR Units in Coventry and Birmingham.
