Statement to voters
Holly is a keen cyclist and feminist activist who is determined to make Langside work for people and planet.

Holly has campaigned for more bike storage facilities and segregated infrastructure. She has also produced research and advocated for Glasgow's streets, parks and buses to be safer, more accessible, affordable and convenient for everyone.
Holly is of the founders of the Reclaim Our Lanes group, which shares knowledge and has built a network to help residents clean up their lanes and backcourts.
Holly is a culture policy researcher fighting for more funding and stability for artists, musicians, makers and freelancers. As the culture spokesperson for the Glasgow Greens' campaign, she also wants to ensure better opportunities for women and non-binary people in sport, and seeks to protect grassroots culture venues.
Holly's priorities for Langside are based on hundreds of chats with local residents throughout her campaign. She is determined to:
- Fight for better funding for street cleaning, more recycling opportunities, waste collections and tackling fly tipping.
- Invest in pavement accessibility, road maintenance and improved lighting to ensure safer streets for all.
- Champion walking, wheeling and cycling by supporting school bike buses and free cycle storage.
- Amplify residents' voices in planning applications like Shawlands Arcade and Mount Florida Bowling Club.
- Work to bring rent controls to Langside and advocate for more support for tenement repairs.
