Statement to voters
Andy Wightman is a leading campaigner for land reform and local democracy. As an MSP he has been a force to be reckoned with. He has fought for tenants rights, particularly through the Covid crisis, and secured major commitments to regulating short-term lets and scrapping the council tax. He was also one of the politicians who led the landmark legal case that said that the UK could revoke Article 50.
