Valerie Anslow loves the town of Wellingborough where she was born, married and raised her family.

Retiring from teaching after 38 years, Valerie is actively involved with the Daylight Centre shop, as well as being instrumental in setting up the Winter Night Shelter. She is a Preacher in the Methodist Church, Governor at Croyland Primary School and member of Wellingborough Interfaith Group.

Valerie has served as councillor for Swanspool Ward since 2015, and that experience will enable her to be effective in the new Unitary Council, where she believes her priority is homes and job creation within the framework of the climate change emergency.
