Abingdon is a special town with a lot of history.

I have lived here for many years now, and have worked in the adult social care sector, as well as a supply teacher in local secondary schools.
Oxfordshire County Council needs to work, together with the Town and District councils for the good of Abingdon. I believe I am in a good position to represent the town of Abingdon for several reasons: I am a keen enthusiast of preserving tradition and identity, have a genuine interest in conservation (I have been a volunteer with the Earth Trust). I'm currently studying for a Master's degree in sustainable food and agriculture policy at Cirencester. Abingdon has a wealth of natrual environment and capital.
What is clear, is that Abingdon needs councillors who will enable it to retain its unique market town identity and complexion. We need to turn the town into a vibrant, energetic place: welcoming to new businesses. I am the person, with the energy, focus, and drive, to bring in new ideas for Abingdon, with a vision for a better future.
