Statement to voters

I've recently realised that everything I love doing is ultimately about community building. Whether a volunteer gardening group, a community sewing project, environmental education with Sussex Green Living in schools and at festivals, my long involvement as course leader for the charity Action for Happiness or volunteer warden for the YHA- it's all about helping create well informed, strong, supportive, healthy communities. In my role as Chair of Horsham Trafalgar Neighbourhood Council I love working cross-party and non-party to achieve a happy, resilient community in as many ways as is possible given the limits imposed by the current political structures.
