Chloe Turner was elected in 2021 as county councillor for Minchinhampton and is standing for re-election.

She has also been district councillor for Minchinhampton since 2021.
Chloe chairs GCC’s Environment Scrutiny Committee and sits on three other principal committees (Audit & Governance, Pensions, Overview & Scrutiny). Chloe is a qualified chartered accountant and is involved in detailed financial scrutiny and audit on the various GCC committees.
Her particular interests include the management of GCC’s rural estate, its leadership role in the Local Nature Recovery Strategy, public transport, procurement and social value.
Outside of the council, Chloe works with third-sector organisations across the county on nature recovery, circular economy projects and climate action. She is active in the local climate action group, and in local community events group Minch Life.
Chloe’s hobbies include bee-keeping and dressmaking. She has three children and is a published author, currently working on her third fiction book.
