Statement to voters

Sean grew up in the village of Standlake with his mother and two brothers.

Full statement

Having attended Bartholomew school he has extensive knowledge and experience of everyday life in the division and was a member of 1st Standlake Sea Scouts, worked as a paper boy, and as a barman at the Black Horse and Rose Revived.

Sean entered the world of sales and marketing following University which saw him start his career in Cardiff, Wales before launching his own company in Milan, Italy. After 5 years and having built an award winning sales and marketing spanning the north of Italy Sean moved to Chicago, USA to face a new challenge. After a year working with a government scheme in Illinois Sean decided to move back to Oxfordshire with his wife. Campaigns managed by Seans companies spanned multiple sectors including non-profits, energy, telecommunications and government aid schemes.

Currently Sean is the lead account manager for a software company that helps local government customers recognise efficiencies in their social care finance operations. He has attended many Local Government conferences and builds relationships with council teams from operational staff to council leaders. In his spare time Sean is the Chair of the Eynsham Heroes Community support group, a group that he set up at the start of the 2020 lockdown to help ensure vulnerable residents had access to food, prescriptions and support during the Coronavirus pandemic.

In early 2019, driven by a willingness to serve the community, Sean decided to get involved in local politics. After extensive research he decided to join the conservative party and began attending parish council meetings, local community group meetings and campaigning alongside local politicians. Seans love for solving problems, meeting new people and helping others had found an outlet and is now something he hopes to be able to demonstrate at District and County level.

A vote for Sean is a vote for a strong representative on the conservative led district and county councils, the most effective way to get residents voices heard and influence some of the bigger changes happening in the next few years across the division.
