Statement to voters
I am 42 years old and I live with my fiance and our two young sons.

I live in Worsley Mesnes and genuinely care about the area and our children's future. There is a distinct lack of things for our children to do in our ward. Boredom leads to anti social behaviour. Youth clubs, sports teams and activities need investment. Trees have been planted in Kipling Park but lighting has been ignored. Lighting is needed to make women and children feel safe, not giving teenagers a haven to drink underage and take drugs. No genuine consultation between councillors, business and planning for the infrastructure of a ward is taking place. This has resulted in Shady's SPAR being totally disregarded and the business being essentially ran out. What the Labour Party don't realise is this kind of establishment is a linchpin for our community. Helping the elderly, helping the isolated during Covid. Worsley Mesnes, Hawkley, Goose Green and St Paul's deserve better. That is why I am standing with no political affiliation, just a local resident with open eyes and open ears for us.
