Statement to voters

I am delighted to be standing as your Labour councillor for Roundhay on 6th May in a team alongside Zara Hussain.

Full statement

My priorities Roundhay communities are:
- defending & improving public services;
- good, well resourced schools for all;
- quality health and care provision;
- efficient public transport, and
- protecting our beautiful green spaces.

I stand against the poverty and injustice created by 11 years of Tory government. I teach at Swarthmore Education Centre and volunteer at Chapeltown Citizens Advice. During my time at Leeds City Council, I helped to establish our children’s centres, working to reduce child poverty in Leeds.

This statement was added by Lisa Martin, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
