I live and work in the area and my daughter goes to school in our area. As an independent councillor I would vote and push for what is best for you and your family, and stand up for the most vulnerable in our society. I want to make a real difference, and work with you to challenge the strategies and decisions that the Council currently makes. Together we can create an action plan for a better future - The Kingstone Independent Action Plan.

• Young people and education: I will fight for extra money and support for our local schools. Our children deserve the best start in life and where you are born should not affect your chances in life.
• Health and Wellbeing: We need to have doctors with available appointments and a mental health system that works.
• Jobs and Business: I would encourage large companies in Barnsley to recruit from the Barnsley area first and not from out of town. I would work with local businesses and Barnsley College to forge long lasting projects to provide apprenticeships and training schemes for young people in our area.
