I work as a teacher and in my spare time, usually volunteer with youth organisations in the Cotswolds, and as a Brownie Guide Leader. I've had to have some tough conversations in recent months with my students about the realities of climate change, and I feel very keen to start implementing meaningful changes as soon as we can.

I have a Masters degree in Physics and Sustainable Energy and now work as a tutor and learning coordinator for neurodivergent youth.

I'm running for local council in the ward where I was raised, Up Hatherley, because I've seen the area grow, develop and change over many years, and it deserves care and attention as it grows. I love living here and I want to give something back.

There've been some key improvements to the area in recent years, including lighting along the fields so people are safer at night. But on the other hand, there've been increases in litter found under hedges and along streets.

I want to help reconnect people to their home ward and local environment, and make people feel excited about living here. And I want to fight for those who may be too young to vote, but who will be profoundly affected by our world changing for the worse.
