Statement to voters

Kelda stands for REAL HOPE and REAL CHANGE in the Derbyshire Dales.

Full statement

She lives in Tideswell with her husband and son. After studying engineering at university, Kelda has been working in the public transport sector for eleven years. This involves infrastructure planning and the management of large budgets on a daily basis. Voted onto Derbyshire Dales District Council last May, Kelda is the youngest councillor. Kelda also serves her community by running Peak District Nappy Library, supporting families who want to try reusable nappies - which can save a family at least £1,000.

“I am driven by a single overriding objective to ensure the world my child inherits is fairer , healthier and better than the world we live in now.”

This statement was last updated on June 14, 2024.
