Daventry has been very kind to me and, although a town, it is still very much a village in terms of how the townspeople look out for each other and I love that feeling of community. Having served the town of Daventry as an independent councillor on the Town Council I am now also standing for the new Unitary Authority in Daventry South. Those of you who know me will know that taking orders or directions does not sit happily with me and if someone tells me I can't do something, my answer is always "Watch me"! If like me, you are bored with the same old hackneyed claptrap being regurgitated with boring monotony from all sides of the political divide, you will understand why I will be standing as an independent candidate for both the Town Council and the Unitary Authority. As far as I am concerned there should be no political bias when it comes to providing services for the local community - and that is how I have served the Town Council since my election in 2018, and that is how I hope to continue to serve the Daventry people should I be fortunate enough to be elected. Vote Independent on May 1st!
