I am standing as a candidate for West Northants Council, because I am passionate about assisting change to make our Town a fantastic place to live in and am frustrated by WzNC being Northampton Centric, after all Daventry have almost 10,000 households paying Council Tax, they deserve a better deal.

I am retired and have the time and ability to bring change and pressure to WNC. They need to know Daventry exists and needs investment. We are not looking for a flashy market Square but want our roads sorted, infrastructure improved, more SEN places in schools, even pavements, protection of Eastern Way playing fields, better health provision. These are some of the points that matter to Daventry.

Being passionate about Daventry I want to be able to help create change and improvement, in dialogue with residents in the area I represent, specifically Monksmoor, Micklewell and Lang Farm.

As a local, now retired, businessman with a keen interest in education and health matters, I want to represent these stakeholders and residents in the decisions that are being made, and ensure those I represent have a say in the decisions being made.
These remain as my focus on West Northamptonshire Council, where being part of the Daventry Liberal Democrats we can work as a team to deliver solutions. Liberal Democrats are free of the many shackles instituanalised by the 2 main parties, we are the peoples party because we consult with residents and fight for what is right.

I genuinely wish to represent our area on WNC by listening to residents, businesses, health providers and education.

I have resided in Daventry since 1997, now living on Daneholme, am a School Governor and also a keen Charity worker. I have had a great career as a transactional mail specialist, for the likes of O2, Sainsbury and Trainline. I have owned my own companies and been a Director of several blue chip organisations. Employers include Next, running their print and payment processing businesses, Unilever as a National Sales Manager, Hawker Siddeley Group, Ricoh and several others in my 51 year career. Now retired I work as an Industrial Business Partner at DSLV and also Daventry Hill School, introducing young people to the world of business in a controlled and fun way. I am also volunteering as a Patient Partner and Research Champion at UHCW hospital and am across the development of Rugby St. Cross as a specialist elective surgery hub and the multi million pound investment. 60% of Daventry patients choose UHCW hospitals for their treatment.

I have 3 grown up chdren and 7 grandchildren, I am registered disabled and sadly cannot walk the streets but am always happy to have a conversation.

A vote for me as the only Liberal Democrat Candidate in Daventry North East will not be a wated vote and I will work hard to serve you if elected. We have much to do.
