Statement to voters

I am standing for election in the Old Town to be your borough councillor. I am passionate about Stevenage, have lived here for 37 years and work locally. I am proud of the Old Town. Vote for me as your local Councillor in May; I will voice your concerns, support and work with you.
My first priority is to improve the safety nearby to the Tesco ramp leading into Ditchmore Lane. I also care about safeguarding local parks and play areas, and want to improve the parking situation in the Old Town.

I believe in safe affordable homes for all, and will work tirelessly to help deliver these in our town.

The Conservative government has cut Stevenage Borough Council’s grant by 74% since 2011/12. Despite this, I am determined to stand up for Stevenage. I will engage with local people and my community to make our Borough even better. As your Labour and Cooperative Party candidate I am committed to a fairer society, believing that things work best when everyone has a voice and when services are accountable to the people who use them.
