I moved back to the area with my wife in 2019. It is where I grew up and love.

I have been in business all my life. People and customer service have always been my priority from starting at our family restaurant to CEO of a FTSE 100.

In 2010 I stepped away from executive life and became chairman or non-executive director of international companies in the USA, France, Middle East and UK. I was chairman of the British Hospitality Association and awarded a CBE for services to industry. I was also proud to have chaired the governors of my old school. Family is my core value. I have a grownup son and daughter, five grandchildren and two stepsons.

I pledge to use my commercial and people experience in the service of our community.

My vision

My work on behalf of all residents will be to support our unique community of the character villages of Oxshott and Stoke D’Abernon with Fairmile.

A place to live where people feel safe in their homes secure from outside intrusion, overcrowding and excessive through traffic. A place where good local services are normal.

I will do whatever is in my power:

To safeguard our Green Belt and environment policy and oppose out of character development.

To keep our local businesses strong and develop a positive social fabric.

To drive waste out from our Council spending and balance the books.

Local is my focus with no ambition other than to serve my friends and neighbours to the very best of my ability.

Working with our excellent residents associations and colleagues I will be a voice for your opinions to be heard and acted upon.
