Statement to voters

Dear neighbour, I am standing to be your councillor because Bishop Auckland deserves strong, committed representation that delivers real results.

Full statement

Born in Bishop Auckland Hospital and running a local business, I understand the challenges our community faces—whether it’s tackling crime and antisocial behaviour, securing investment for our town centre, or protecting vital services from Labour’s cuts.

As your councillor, I will fight to keep the £73 million Levelling Up funding in Bishop Auckland, ensuring it is spent on regeneration and job creation, not lost to Labour bureaucracy. I will work with the police to crack down on crime, invest in youth services, and hold transport companies accountable for poor bus and rail services.

I have a track record of delivering for our community, and with your support, I will continue standing up for Bishop Auckland. On polling day, vote for a strong local champion—vote Conservative.
