“I believe that following the struggle to control the Covid-19 pandemic it will be necessary to rebuild our communities.

Over the past four years of Conservative control of Derbyshire we have seen a failure to deal effectively with road and footpath repairs, while at the same time over £7 million has been spent on consultants, and £13 million on agency staff. There has also been a failure to take up the available funding for new Apprenticeships.”
“We need to use Derbyshire’s assets to encourage inward investment, ensure Tax Payers’ money is spent on services — not on Consultants’ fees - and increase Apprenticeship places and job opportunities.”
