From Sal Jarvis: " I am the Liberal Democrat candidate for Hitchin Rural County Council seat.
Full statement
I have lived in North Herts for 40 years, working first as a primary teacher and then in Higher Education, working first at Hertfordshire University.
I am standing for the County Council to help build a council that is on the side of local people, doing better for Hertfordshire’s children with special educational needs, fixing the broken roads and bus services and creating a greener county.
Local councillors are elected to fight for what local people want and need and to be available all year round. Please elect me and I will do my best for all of you.
