Statement to voters
I was raised in Surrey and after 13 years overseas in the hospitality business I returned to Surrey in 1994 and have lived in Ashtead for 7 years.
I am a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality and currently run the catering services for 2 local schools.
I am passionate about supporting local businesses especially restaurants and pubs
My concerns for Ashtead are the traffic problems around local schools with surrounding streets being used as "car parks" and the increasing litter blight around the A24 verges.
