Statement to Voters – Jade Chapman (Pelsall)

I live in Pelsall with my family and understand the day-to-day issues residents face, from traffic and parking pressures to road safety, anti-social behaviour, and concerns around overdevelopment.

I currently serve as a councillor for Rushall-Shelfield. Following boundary changes, parts of that ward are now moving into Pelsall. As a Pelsall resident, it makes sense for me to stand here, to represent the community I live in and see every day.

During my time as a councillor, I have worked directly with residents to resolve local issues, raise concerns with the council, and push for practical solutions. I focus on getting things done and making sure residents are properly heard.

If elected in Pelsall, my priorities will be:

Improving road safety, crossings, and parking
Tackling anti-social behaviour
Protecting green spaces and managing development responsibly
Ensuring local concerns are acted on, not ignored

Local elections are about local issues. I am standing to provide a strong, responsive voice for Pelsall. Focused on action, accountability, and putting residents first.
