Never has there been a more urgent need for Green MPs to be elected. Climate change and biodiversity loss will affect every area of everyone's lives but mostly the poorest members of society. Social and economic justice and fairness are core to solving some of these problems. The cost of living crisis has not been solved by austerity, only a fairer, more equal tax system will bring economic change and help balance society more fairly. It is not just Green Party members who are saying they are keen for change, more and more people on the doorstep are saying how much they want a fairer, greener country. Green jobs and green infrastructure must be funded as soon as possible to solve this crisis and improve people’s lives, bringing down costs by insulating homes and reducing our reliance on fossil fuels. Now is when we must act. The climate will not wait, people cannot wait, nature will not wait. Our future depends on our decisions now. Only the Green party would put the environment and people at the heart of decision-making. Vote Green in Welwyn Hatfield, vote for Sarah Butcher and make our country a better, more just place to live.
