My family have lived in Goudhurst for the past 30 years. I tutor children in mathematics and am keen to see the benefit of good education spread as widely as possible. I have run the local music society and wish to see the arts protected financially in this difficult time for our economy. I am a Liberal Democrat because Britain needs a centre party to curb the excesses of right and left.

In the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council under Conservative control we had a dearth of sound finances, of leadership, and a desperate need to revive both the town centre and the outlying villages. This can only be done with positive representation for everyone throughout the Borough of Tunbridge Wells. We all need a voice to ensure our transport, housing, community, education and health concerns are listened to."
