Statement to voters

Dedicated To Our Community, Committed To Positive Change: John Hannah is the Independence for Scotland Party (ISP) candidate for the Bathgate and Linlithgow constituency in the 2024 UK General Election.

Full statement

As an ISP office bearer and the treasurer of the ISP Lothian Branch, John is deeply committed to serving his community.

A Local Candidate:

John is your ‘local candidate’. Born and raised in Armadale, and currently employed and working in the area, John knows our constituency inside and out.

John’s professional journey as a Business Analyst spans across banking, insurance, and most recently, public sector pensions. His extensive travels and global engagements have equipped him with a unique perspective on problem-solving that will help him to support any local issues.

Beyond his professional life, John enjoys music, hill walking, martial arts and recently expanded his Business Analysis interests into the world of Cyber Security.

Addressing The Real Issues:

John understands the challenges we face today. The cost of living crisis, stretched care services, rising poverty, and the struggling NHS are just a few of the pressing issues we need to address.

The Forth Freeport project raises concerns about employment rights, taxes, and local services, and the impending closure of the Grangemouth refinery adds to our economic and employment worries.

As your representative, John is determined to address these concerns head-on. He believes in working collaboratively across the political spectrum to find practical solutions that will benefit our community and our nation.

Engage With John:

John is committed to being accessible and responsive to the needs of his constituents. He is eager to discuss local issues and answer any questions you might have. To learn more about the ISP’s vision for our future, you can read our manifesto at isp.scot/manifesto.

Bathgate and Linlithgow constituents can feel free to reach out to John directly at j_hannah@isp.scot with your questions or to share your concerns.

Together, we can make a difference.
