Having been voted onto the borough council twice and having represented the views of my residents effectively, I can take this experience of public service and represent the people of Tonbridge at Westminster.

I am a secondary school teacher and head of department, teaching English and Media Studies at a state school in Tonbridge. Previously, I worked as a press officer both within the public and private sectors. I have lived in Tonbridge for over 12 years, with my husband and two children, and my rescue cat.

I have not been afraid to speak up against unwelcome developments or to raise the concerns over women over their safety in the town. I want to see planning policies for walkable, sustainable and environmentally-friendly communities that prioritise green spaces and protect the Green Belt. With growing waiting lists, I understand the need to invest properly in the NHS, to give equal and timely access to healthcare, including mental health services. And as a working adult, I understand that the cost of living crisis has hit so many, so hard. By voting for me and the Green Party, you would be voting for positive change. I understand that hardworking families need to be supported through reform to the taxation of corporations to fund the services the country needs.
