Euan currently serves as a local elected Councillor for Drum Brae/Gyle Ward.

Since being elected he has been an energetic local advocate for residents and has led campaigns on a range of issues, developing a reputation as someone who shows up and does the work”.Euan is the SNP Council Group Spokesperson for Education, Children and Families. He worked as a Support Worker with vulnerable young people in local schools and a charity here in west Edinburgh before starting his business.As a small business owner he has brought debates to Edinburgh Council asking for measures to revive our local high streets. He opened his cafe as a ‘warm space’ before bringing a motion to the Council asking them to open public spaces under a similar initiative.Euan is passionate about workers’ rights, human rights and climate justice. He regularly attends demonstrations, for example, on climate action and Palestine solidarity protests calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
