Full statement
Opposed to building on our fast diminishing Greenbelt. We must protect our countryside & wildlife for own own mental and physical wellbeing. The Bury Labour group supported plan 'Places for Everyone' is NOT needed.
Opposed to any return to Greater Manchester charging Clear Air Zone (CAZ)
Opposed to the fencing off and charging for basic sporting and leisure ameneties. Tennis courts and soon a very large football pitch will be fenced off from local people and they are to be charged for its use. At the moment the majority who use them are not from Radcliffe.
Greater investment in youth provision to promote positive choices and activities for young people. Push this council to build affordable social housing for local people rather than 3-4 mansions for a wealthy elite from outside the area.
