Statement to voters

Fiona Nelson: A Local Voice for Argyll & Bute

Rooted in Our Community
Having lived and worked in Inveraray for over 40 years—working in hospitality, managing the Mid Argyll Swimming Pool, and running my own first aid training company—I understand the unique challenges of our area because I have lived them alongside you.

Full statement

For 26 years, I have delivered first aid training across Scotland, specialising in the forestry sector, which has given me a deep understanding of our rural economy and its needs.

Driven to Act
I didn’t choose to enter politics; I was driven to it by the destruction of our land and the neglect of our services. I am tired of politicians failing to deliver on the mandates they were given. It is time for real political change. From crumbling infrastructure and failing ferries to the "Net Zero" projects scarring our landscapes, Scotland is being let down.

The Independence for Scotland Party (ISP) believes that nothing less than full Independence will suffice. We advocate for:

Direct Democracy: Where the Sovereign people of Scotland hold the true power.

Economic Dignity: A guaranteed minimum income to combat the escalating cost-of-living and energy crises.

Local Protection: An immediate end to the uncontrolled destruction of our land and coastal waters.

We need to own our future. For the people of Argyll & Bute, and for Scotland, I am ready to act.

Independence: Nothing less, nothing else
