Simon Anthony was born in Hanwell and lived and worked in Ealing for over twenty years.

He started work at 17 as an apprentice with Post Office Telecoms before joining the BBC as a Video Tape engineer. In Nottingham he started a family and became a teacher, programmer, QA software engineer, computer journalist college lecturer and occasional GP election candidate.
In 2004 he met his wife, a public service managerial consultant, online – in Australia. They had to sell their `Nottingham home and flat hop in London multiple times chasing work before moving to Sydney for almost five years. Back in the UK they lived in Barking and stood in the 2024 General Election, coming third just 200 votes behind Reform.He has been disabled by Long Covid since 2020 but by careful ‘Pacing’ his efforts, he is a professional Santa and actor. They moved to a retirement home in Acton last year.
They have four adult children, two from his ex partner, two from his wife and two grandchildren.
He joined the Green Party in 1991 and has stood many times. He finds the manifesto, incredibly, matches what is in his heart – no really !
Simon is Anti War, Anti Bigotry, Anti Violence of any sort. He is fully Pro Free thinking, Classical music, Sci Fi eg Dr Who, Star Trek etc oh, and environmentalism!
