Steve has lived in Kingston since 2013, having originally moved to the borough to study at Kingston University.

Steve's past employment includes working for the Princess Alice Hospice in Kingston and he now works in student services at Kingston University. He is currently finishing corrections to his PhD thesis in International Relations concerning historic Anglo-Japanese relations.
Since 2022, Steve has been a vocal campaigner on the reconstruction of the Kingfisher Leisure Centre in Kingston. In addition, he has campaigned on issues such as retaining Kingston’s tree planting scheme and increasing recycling within the Borough. Steve is keen on addressing Kingston’s affordable housing shortage, improving green spaces, community resilience and preserving local historical assets.
