Statement to voters
Raised in Blyth, I have lived in the North East my entire life and I am enthusiastic about our heritage and future.
Full statement
My priories are twofold: - Firstly to make South Jesmond more beautiful, by directly investing into the planting of more trees and green spaces. As well as putting aesthetics and families into the heart of planning considerations. - Secondly to represent students on Newcastle City Council and stand up for their interests. In a City with over 60,000 people in Higher Education issues that exclusively affect us are largely ignored due to a lack of representation. From endless strikes to problems with student housing, I will stand up for South Jesmond and for students across Newcastle.
