Statement to voters
“The Tory council with their government’s policies has run our town as well as our services to breaking point. Its not good enough and has to change.
Southend Labour is the party that shows compassion, that listens and works hard all your round for the residents of Kursaal Ward and the town as a whole
We need to tackle crime
We need to tackle antisocial behaviour
We need to give the young people somewhere to go so that they can be safe and have fun.
These are issues I feel very passionate about and if elected I will work hard, along with my colleagues Cllrs Matt Dent and Helen McDonald, to improve life for the residents of Kursaal.
We need to take back our town and make it the best place to live and visit again.”
