I’m Jack Vickers, your local Green candidate for Priory.

I’m proud to be standing for election on 7 May.
It’s been great meeting so many of you, and I’m very grateful for the support people continue to show me here. Speaking with residents on the doorstep has helped me better understand the issues people face day to day. Here is some important information ahead of the election in a few weeks.
I lived on Burnthouse Lane for years, and if there’s one thing I remember about living in the area, it’s the widespread feeling that we’d been neglected and forgotten by the council. Too often our neighbourhood hasn’t had the attention or investment it deserves, and many residents tell me they feel the same today.
I have worked many jobs over the years, from warehousing to retail to security, and I know how to work in a team to deliver results.I am passionate about tackling the lack of affordable housing in our city, as well as improving transport and cycling infrastructure. I am also committed to protecting our green spaces, such as Ludwell Valley Park, so they can be enjoyed by local families for generations to come.
