Statement to voters
I am standing for re-election to the District Council.
I am an energy consultant and I live with my wife and three teenage children just off Wade Park Avenue.
Since 2015, I have done my best to ensure decision-makers in Grantham don’t forget about the Deepings.
I have attended meetings, proposed new ideas and held the Council to account, e.g. I have asked about the new Leisure Centre on at least eight separate occasions!
I have spoken out about SKDC’s wasteful spending on publicity stunts and consultants as well as secretive meetings and unfair recruitment.
I communicate regularly with residents e.g. by newsletters and by reporting back to Town and Parish Councils.
SKDC isn’t directly responsible for the closure of our banks and pubs, nor the withdrawal of funding for youth clubs, libraries and street-lights, nor the awful state of our roads. However, I will do my best to represent the interests of our community on these issues and others.
Please vote for me on Thursday!
