I have been a Farnborough & Crofton resident for almost 20 years, and I believe it is time to stand up and influence changes at our Bromley Council.

As a father of two children who went to local schools and a member of those schools’ parents association, I feel the urgent need to actually do something about our cost of living crisis we have faced for too long and it has not been dealt with by those in charge who were in position to make a change but never did.

I hear constantly from residents about the unbearable pollution and noise caused by choked roads, old diesel buses, and local air traffic in particular, in our wonderful and green belt, Farnborough & Crofton.

As Biggin Hill Airport Limited has dramatically increased local air traffic, resulting in significant noise pollution affecting our community. I will therefore campaign for the introduction of a fair taxation or landing fee on private jet travel for BHAL to help mitigate the noise and environmental impact on our community and to finance lower council tax, to support those families who struggle with their utility bills and the cost of living, and increase our police force too.

An often quoted issue and my personal desire from residents is the need for more sustainability. We need urgent support for our local repair shops, second-hand, and other small-shops that keep disappearing/closing in our high street due to rising utility bills and cost of living crisis.

We, the Bromley Green Party, will be a strong voice for your demands, your freedom, your health, your green spaces and be a reliable supporter for cleaner air and fairer living for EVERYONE.
