Statement to voters

Born and bred in Cardiff, Graham Terrell is an Oxford history graduate who became a teacher, a Head of 6th Form, and a Deputy Head. He left teaching to be Head of Publications and Editor of 'Teaching Today' at the teachers' union of which he had previously been elected the National President. He was a Magistrate and then an 'Appropriate Adult' for Sutton Council on behalf of young people and 'vulnerable' adults who had been arrested. He is now retired and has lived in Sutton for over twenty years.
