Statement to voters
Neil has lived and worked in Tower Hamlets for over 25 years.
Full statement
He works with Barts Health as a speech and language therapist supporting children with complex needs and their families across the borough.
Neil is passionate about ensuring that travel in the ward and the borough is safe for everyone, and will oppose plans by the current mayor to increase motor traffic coming through the area. He is acutely aware of the low affordability of housing in the area, and will push the council to maintain and expand its housing stock. The council’s budget for children with special educational needs has suffered cuts over recent years – Neil will advocate for this vulnerable group and ensure they are taken into account when budget decisions are made.
