We need to challenge our council to stop the building of more houses on the green belt.

Our roads aren't fit for purpose, not just the potholes, but the lack of cycle ways and discouraging fly-tipping: we need to challenge our council on this area that needs developing.

Parents of children with additional leaning and communication needs feel let down by the council for not providing appropriate and effective support, both in the classroom and in the community. I know as I was a headteacher in a special school for over 30 years.

Our council does little for our teenagers in the community, with few options to thrive in designated centres. I give music sessions in our local care homes and hospitals voluntarily and have become aware how little activities exist in the community for our ageing population.

A review of our council's highest paid managers is required, as Bury's finances are in a mess, even though council taxes are at their highest ever!
