Statement to voters

Dear Voters & Residents I will stand for election in support of needed services under the District Council as councillor for Brympton.

Full statement

It is my intention not to be a political candidate, however my efforts will benefit one and all people. I am well versed as a Yeovil Town Councillor to understand politics; and how it can hamper local communities as it doesn’t always address areas by needed services under their control. Communities can only be served by those who seek to spend local taxpayers’ money with due diligence, as demanded by community council charges, and to correctly challenge waste where it occurs. For my life, has been here in Yeovil, so I’m well known for my strong views in supporting injustice, by lack of services to sustain communities. I stand against loss of wealth by poor planning and management, and where people aren’t heard under a political banner, the people need a voice truly representing them in many forums as they can be heard within. Things you’ll never hear me say: Due to covid: there are other responsibilities: There are other priorities: we're working hard around the clock: lessons have been learnt!! The too hard to handle file will never cease unless you make solutions that work and are driven to a result for all to benefit. My mantra is (KISS) keep it simple stupid: It Works. I currently sit on Trusts, Charities, Council, supporting people and animals alike, more I’m involve the greater the reward using critical thinking solutions. NHS YDH is currently again under public domestic scrutiny, for the people to have good and sustainable health outcomes and goals whilst interventions occur. Having worked as PPI member for the transition of Yeovil District Hospital to become the Foundation trust we have today. It befits me to engage once again to critical think solutions concerning Taunton Musgrove Park Hospital joining with Yeovil Hospital to protect and secure services, that are currently stretched by lack of support either by financial restrictions or employment circumstances.

It’s with gratitude, if you chose to vote and elect me to District Council for Brympton on the July 14th, 2022. Mr Ashley Richards Cllr Vote X
