Residents of Constable Division are united by their love of where they live whether it's in the rural villages, as I do, or north Highwoods on the city's north-easterly boudary.

This division of Essex County Council take in the northerly villages of Lexden and Braiswick ward of Colchester City Council, which I've represented since 2022 and where I'm seeking re-election too.

I'm decided to stand for election for the first time to Essex County Council because the experience and knowledge I've gained at Colchester council will be vital to making sure our voice is heard loud and clear at County Hall in Chelmsford.

I am principled as well as determined. I successfully campaigned as a councillor for local elections to go ahead on 7 May 2026. These local elections are more important than ever because major decisions will be taken in the next year that change our communities for ever.

Now is not the time to try out unknown or new candidates.

Vote Sara Naylor to be your champion for this most north-easterly part of Essex where our communities and way of life is being disrespected by, and, is under threat from Labour's plans:

• to build needlessly over our green fields and erect mega-pylons, and
• to deny us the better roads, extra hospital beds, school places, GPs and sewage /water capacity that we've proved are desperately needed now.
