Full statement
About me-
I’m not driven by any party whip or agenda.
I will work for you , I’m not distracted by any other type of work and I do not run any businesses.
I’m a retired senior police officer with many skills and a lot of experience.
I am committed to serving the public.
Hobby wise I am an animal lover and I am currently the chair of a national charity which provides conservation funding grants worldwide , The Parrot Society UK .
I pledge that if you elect me I will undertake the following-
I will vote against any nuclear waste site in Lincolnshire.
I will not support traffic cameras as income generators , however I will explore methods of reducing the number of accidents and fatalities on our roads through dangerous driving.
I will resist any move to change the culture of England and I will ensure that any planning application, signage etc is in keeping with the expectation of an English village.
Pollution and the environment-
I will fight any unlawful discharge of waste products or effluent into our rivers and the sea.
Flooding-
I will exert any pressure that’s identified as necessary to alleviate any flood risk .
I absolutely oppose the pylon scheme in Lincolnshire which threatens to visually impair the Lincolnshire countryside when there are viable alternatives.
I will not support wind farms which are not ‘green’ as people think and do damage to our wildlife, birds and mammals living in the sea.
I will not support using prime agricultural land for solar farms which is part of agenda 30.
Roads-
I will challenge the quality of repairs to pot holes on our roads.
It’s pointless undertaking repairs spending hundreds of thousands of pounds which do not last long just to satisfy targets and try to look good by publishing that hundreds have been repaired on our roads.
Net Zero-
I will not be voting for any measures which are detrimental to the constituents in a pointless attempt to achieve the impossible.
Farming-
I will actively support our farmers who are some of the prime agricultural suppliers in the country.
Why you should vote for me-
This is a local election and should be about local interests.
I am a patriot and believe in preserving England and our culture.
I will not accept the gradual decline of what people fought for in two world wars.
With the English Democrats I will deliver and prove that I have the Boston Coastal area as my priority.
I live in Wrangle and was elected to the Wrangle Parish Council in 2023.
I was co opted on to the Old Leake Parish Council in 2023.
I’m currently the chair of Old Leake Parish Council and the vice chair of Wrangle Parish Council.
Prepared by the candidate for and on behalf of himself who can be reached through the English Democrats of Quires Green , Ongar , Essex CM5 0QP.
