Statement to voters
I am standing in the Marine Ward by-election for Worthing Borough Council, held on Thursday 19 September.
Full statement
Having grown up in Worthing, I deeply cherish our town and feel grateful every day to live by the seaside. Whether I’m enjoying long walks on the beach with my dog or kayaking along the coast, the beauty of Worthing always reminds me of how special our community is. This is why I’m committed to ensuring our town is well-governed and flourishing - the decline of our town under Labour is what motivated me to stand in this election. Whether it is the year-on-year increases in Council Tax or the lack of street cleaning in our local area, I know that Worthing is being let down by Labour. We need a Council that delivers for residents and if elected I will work every day to ensure that the Council works for you.
