Having previously worked for a local government; he is committed to providing effective, reliable council services and cleaner streets that are safe from crime.

"My name is Tom Chatfield, and I am standing in West Hill and North Laine as a local Labour Party Candidate. Having moved to this city a couple of years ago as a student, I have been amazed at how I have been taken in by such a loving and diverse community. However, I believe that we as a city deserve better local government. I will work hard to provide effective council services, cheaper and more reliable bus travel as well as safer and cleaner streets. As a bisexual man, I understand the importance of the LGBTQ+ community to our city’s culture and pledge to represent it to the best of my ability. I hope I can win both your support and your vote come 4th May."
