Francoise Rimelen-Johnston is demanding better for Portishead North.

Ms Rimelen-Johnston is a long standing and well respected mathematics teacher at Gordano School. She is passionate about getting a fairer deal for children and young people in North Somersets, further investing in Parks & Play Equipment such as in the Lakegrounds. Francoise has particular expertise in foster care and special educational needs and wants to use this to improve outcomes for children in North Somerset.
Ms Rimelen-Johnston is a keen knitter and painter, and loves the strong art and culture scene in Portishead - with previous experience in running an arts and crafts department at Careys DIY. As such Francoise wants to demand better for Portishead High Street, improving the public realm, community hubs and calling for a Community Banking Hub in Portishead.
Francoise believes it's time for a Fair Deal for Portishead North, investing in frontline services, and social care, and doing more to fix our broken public transport system in Portishead.
