Denise is a retired Chartered Librarian, who spent her working life in public and educational institution libraries. Having lived in Tuxford for 15 years now, she has been an active local volunteer - at Tuxford Primary Academy, the Mine of Information and at Tuxford Public Library. Denise has been a member of the Green Party since the mid 1990s and helped found the St.Albans Green Party in the early 2000s.

Denise is standing to help publicise the relaunched Bassetlaw Party, and to provide Tuxford and Trent residents the chance to vote Green in the district council elections.
