Erewash Labour are very proud to announce GEORGE CARR-WILLIAMSON as our candidate for LONG EATON NORTH in next year’s county council elections! George is an absolute stalwart of the Labour Party - having joined the party at 18, for the past two decades he’s worked behind the scenes to help us do all the things we do.

In 2022, he was rewarded for his lifetime of hard work and service to good causes with an MBE!
Speaking to voters in Long Eaton North, by far the thing they told George the most was that the state of our roads and pavements is absolutely unacceptable. College Street runs right through Long Eaton North, from the top to the bottom of the ward, and is in such appalling condition. Getting it up to a good standard, when it’s such vital road for cars and especially buses, must be an absolute priority.
George and the Erewash Labour team will be out next weekend in Long Eaton North, talking to voters about the issues that matter to them. The hard work starts now! 🫡🌹
