Statement to voters
A lifelong resident of Loughborough, Daisy has always been working to effect positive change.

From her early days as a sports representative at Loughborough College and sitting on the AU Executive at Loughborough University to her time as vice chairperson at a local charity for addiction and homelessness. She has also worked as a volunteer, delivering sports coaching sessions to young people within Charnwood, assisting local communities as far afield as South Africa and co-leading a team in Ghana to deliver education sessions to women and girls in remote locations about women's health and rights. Daisy has also previously undertaken EU funded training in delivering human rights education in both Poland and Italy as well as working closer to home with groups of international participants here in Loughborough.
Being neurodivergent and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community Daisy knows how important it is for everyone to feel represented and have a voice, currently sitting as the EEDI officer for Loughborough Green Party, she wishes to utilise her experience for the betterment of our local community making it work for each and every one of us as well pushing for sustainability to be at the forefront of our decision making, ensuring a better future for Loughborough East, the rest of Charnwood and beyond.
