I have become increasingly involved with our community and helping it flourish. I’m currently one of three borough councillors for the Speldhurst and Bidborough ward, and the Chair of Speldhurst Parish Council.

These seats in local democracy have given me good oversight of the issues affecting our area and an understanding of how to get things done. I’d like to continue to work with Matthew Sankey, our other Alliance borough councillor for the ward, in championing local issues, helping address the challenges TWBC faces and liaising with KCC for issues such as the roads, which are devolved to them; essentially, representing you for the good of the community.

I don’t have any lofty political aspirations; I just want to do a good job for you, my neighbours. I believe in cross-party collaboration and keeping an independent view.

I’ll happily continue in the council for as long as everyone finds me useful, and I’d really enjoy the opportunity to continue to champion your voices within TWBC.
