Steel lives in Horley and works at Gatwick as a pilot. When not flying, he works as a supply teacher in local primary schools. He says: “Horley is my home and it is my intention to make it a safe and beautiful place for us all. “You may see my wife and I picking litter as we enjoy the trails around our town so don't be afraid to stop us and say hi!”
